How selling your car works

  1. Tell us about the car

    Call us or fill in the form. We need the make, model, year, rough condition and where it's parked. That's enough for a firm number — usually in about a minute.

  2. We confirm and book a time

    If you're happy with the quote we lock in a pickup. We come to you: home, work, a carpark, the side of the road. Same day is often possible.

  3. Paperwork, cash, gone

    We check ID and registration, you sign the transfer, we pay you on the spot and tow the car away free. The price we quoted is the price you get.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be there when you collect the car?
Yes, or someone authorised to sign on your behalf. We need to verify ID against the registered owner and get the transfer signed. It's a legal requirement, not paperwork for its own sake.
What if the car is blocked in or won't roll?
Seized brakes, missing wheels and cars boxed in by other vehicles are all routine. Tell us when you book so we bring skates and a winch. We've very rarely had to leave one behind.
Do I need to remove the number plates?
If the registration is still current, take the plates off and return them to TMR — you may be entitled to a refund on the unused portion. If the car is already unregistered, leave them on and we'll dispose of them.
How much notice do you need?
Not much. Same-day is often possible on the Gold Coast if you call in the morning. We will confirm timing when you request your quote.
